New Round of Blogging
So I haven´t been blogging for such a looooong time because I kinda had to get life in order (which I haven´t really managed but at least there are plans) after school. It's not so easy as it sounds to just get out of a creative education and trying to figure out how to survive with this in a world thats about consumerism and big headlines like "Geiz ist Geil" set in outlined semi 3d orange chrome 600 point letters on every billboard in the country. Anyway there will be FAR less blogging from me in the future as well — time has been lost in the rabbit hole some moons ago and I am desperately trying to fish bits out as much as possible. So my thinking is: what should I blog with a restrictive time schedule on hand and I have found a simple yet obvious solution: blog only original content. Yes, you heard it right: there will be NO political commentary, NO mac commentary, NO product press release announcement and basically nothing you could also find on any of the much bigger more specialized blogs EXCEPT if I have some inside knowledge to add (and back up) thats not been in an original story.
The main content you are going to see here is hands and heads on what is going on with my work and my life and everything surrounding it (but if you are looking for personal gossip you are still at the wrong place — only if its funny or is a lesson about life in general will you hear anything personal here). That mean nitty gritty details about projects, net technology in any form and shape, everything in the world of visual FX and 3D animation, video art/entertainment from a producers perspective and ecologic design. Thats basically where I am headed from here on out in the working world and thats what I will report about — but as said if you wait for a review of the latest MacBookPro or such — you will only get it after I bought it and have intensively played with it and have things to say about it that others have not yet mentioned. Generally I will give out specific project details if it enhances the worlds collective cognition in any way. Also expect to see some code — web-code for enhanced websites/apps mainly javascript, mel and newly python for maya.
As I am a ranter from hell - I quite enjoy ranting A LOT to keep frustration level down - I will also have informed rants on here, but unlike earlier in this blogs life I will try to back up my rants much better then before or not post at all.
So these are my own guidelines and I am sure it takes me only 3-4 posts to at least break one of the rules but yeah its mine and I can do whatever I want on here anyway.
