Make-up is fascinating in how it can utterly transform a face, it is transformation that captivates me.
I used both makeup and costume all during my childhood to explore and express this transformational quality, and progressed it to an art form that resulted in my taking a degree in Theatre. I've worked professionally with prosthetics, film, and stage.

For me a production relies on make-up and costume to manifest an image that communicates a concept. Make-up is an essential transformational tool creating a masque that can both illustrate and conceal the subtler levels of the story as they unfold.
