Falk Gärtner
Born 1977 in former East Germany near Berlin he has successfully studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Science in Potsdam/Germany. Further he is the founder of Prototypen and tries to head the company into a networked collaborative future.
His interest is clearly in the visual side of design, with a special eye on moving image production. He leads the Prototypen VFX devision planning, supervising, overseeing and producing 3D animations, complex compositing and motion graphics. He acts as a member of the Prototypen Communication Design Group where he designs brochures, websites and interfaces. Active in field of Visual Jockeying as part of the proto.beamaz devision, he also researches the new field of Live Cinema. Furthermore he is actively blogging, coding and theorizing in various mostly visual and interactive disciplines.
