A small spray can Ping carries with her for emergencies (and carries in her pajama pockets!?)
A single spray sends anyone straight to sleep. This was given to her by Big Fish who was obviously concerned for her safety when she's out in the streets alone (though there is not much crime, it is best to be safe) and uses nano-technology (of course).
For the person to recover, the spray-can can be used to disable the nanobots, or they can return to the can, returning the person to their normal state.
