A more realistic, perhaps, view of a nanobot from the BBC website. I've seen a similar concept for them quite a lot.
info page - a real-life nanobot. Not a real picture, but a working nano-car. Each blob represents one atom! The whole 'car' is a single molecule. It does not include a power source, but can be pushed around using the tip of an electron microscope - maybe this is how the professor assembles them?
